1 | What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is a slimming procedure that cools and destroys fat cells to remove fat non-invasively.
The CoolSculpting machine was created in the United States in 2008 and has since been introduced in more than 80 countries around the world.
How it Works?
During the CoolSculpting procedure, an applicator set at “4°C” (the temperature at which fat cells freeze and die), is attached to the area of concern to cool the fat cells.
These areas can range from arms, belly, thighs, double chins and more.
The next step is to sit back and relax while the CoolSculpting machine works its magic.
Destroyed fat cells will naturally be expelled from the body over a period of weeks to months. Over time, the patient will start seeing their area of concern slim down gradually.
You will begin to feel the effects as early as three weeks after the treatment, and the effect is most prominent after 2 to 3 months.
Patience is key with CoolSculpting.
2 | What is TightSculpting?
TightSculpting is also a slimming procedure, but it utilizes the latest laser technology and delivers controlled energy into the treatment area for the combined effects of fat loss and skin tightening.
Although the laser portion of its description can make it sound intimidating, TightSculpting can be performed without causing pain or discomfort to the patient.
Moreover, the laser does not damage the skin or internal tissues other than fat.
TightSculpting does not require any numbing and is completely non-invasive.
How it Works?
The extremely long pulse width of the TightSculpting laser allows the energy to reach deep fat cells from within the skin’s layers.
It reaches subcutaneous fat and heats fat to 40-45°C to promote fat reduction safely and comfortably.
The destroyed fat cells are gradually eliminated naturally by the body over a short amount of time.
Furthermore, TightSculpting also simultaneously promotes skin tightening due to the laser energy used.
Patients do not need to worry about sagging or loose crepey skin due to their fat loss – TightSculpting has you covered.
3 | CoolSculpting has more serious side effects
Even though CoolSculpting is very popular and causes little to no down time, there are some risks you should know before having a CoolSculpting procedure.
Linda Evangelista, a famous Canadian fashion model, had seven sessions of CoolSculpting from August 2015 to February 2016, and unfortunately experienced Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia (PAH) due to the CoolSculpting treatment.
The same happened in 2021 when a woman in the United States underwent CoolSculpting and suffered the side effect of PAH.
PAH is, ironically, a reverse increase in fat that can occur when the freezing process of CoolSculpting causes the affected fatty tissue to thicken and expand.
PAH is a rare side effect that affects less than 1% of CoolSculpting patients.

4 | In conclusion, we recommend TightSculpting
TightSculpting is the latest technology for fat destruction and it can treat almost all areas of your body such as Arms, stomach, waist, hips, thighs, etc.
It helps not only decrease your fat but also tighten your skin and bring elasticity and firmness.
The most important feature of TightSculpting is the enhanced safety versus CoolSculpting.
TightSculpting carries no risk of PAH due to its different nature and usage.
