P-Shot For Men

P-Shot for Men’s Sexual Health

P-Shot enhances male sexual health and performance. Issues such as erectile dysfunction and undesirable penis girth and length can be improved with the P-Shot. Even those with Peyronie’s disease (curving or ‘bending’ of the penis) can see improvements with this treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the P-Shot and How Does it Work?

The P-Shot is a Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injection into the penis. Generally, PRP is extracted from your own blood and is extremely rich in natural growth factors and nutrients, which stimulate the growth of new blood vessels and potential nerve generation.

What Issues can be Treated with the P-Shot?

PRP therapy is versatile, and can be used to treat a variety of issues. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Erectile dysfunction (inability to maintain erections)
  • Premature ejaculation
  • Peyronie’s disease (undesired curvature of the penis)
  • Undesirable girth of penis
  • Low sensitivity and sensation

How Long Does It Take for the P-Shot to Work?

Results can be seen gradually in 1-6 weeks following treatment. A 2nd and 3rd treatment may be needed to optimize results.

How Long Does It Take for Recovery? What are the Side Effects?

There is no downtime following treatment, although some patients may have mild bruising and tenderness at the injection site right after their treatment. We do not recommend sexual activities for 2 days or until the bruising or tenderness is settled.

How Long Does It Last?

The P-Shot is typically reported to last up to 18 months after three consecutive treatments. However, some patients have seen results linger two years after their treatment. Routine touch-up treatments can help prolong the results and benefits.

How Do I Prepare for the P-Shot?

Please let us know if you are on Warfarin, Coumadin, or other novel anticoagulants; it is a contraindication.

In Order to Avoid Bruising:

  • A week before your procedure, avoid if possible using NSAID blood thinners such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Motrin, and Advil.
  • A week before your procedure, avoid fish oil, vitamin E, vitamin A, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, and gingko biloba.
  • 48 hours before your procedure, avoid alcohol.

Are You a Candidate for the P-Shot?

Everyone’s anatomy is unique, and so are the issues they face when it comes to sexual health. PRP therapy is highly customizable, and the P-Shot can be injected into various parts of the penis for different uses.

Combination P-Shot and Bocox for Best Results

The combination of the P-Shot and Bocox to treat ED can lead to more comprehensive outcomes.  The P-Shot involves injecting concentrated platelets into the penis to stimulate tissue regeneration and improve blood flow, followed by Bocox injections into the penile muscles to enhance circulation by promoting relaxation. This minimally invasive dual therapy is ideal for men who have not achieved satisfactory results with oral medications, or are seeking a non-surgical option, particularly those with mild to moderate ED or have performance anxiety.
